EasyPayCalc is an independent Australian website with one job: showing what a pay figure actually turns into after tax, for every common way Australians are paid. It is free to use, needs no sign-up, and runs entirely in your browser.

How the site is funded

The site earns its keep through advertising shown alongside the calculators and guides. That is the whole business model. Advertisers have no say in the figures, which come from legislation and official sources by a process described openly on the page about where the numbers come from, and no advertiser relationship changes what the calculator tells you.

What we do with your information

Nothing, mostly, because we never receive it. The site is served as static files with no server behind it, so the figures you type stay on your device. The full detail, including the cookies that advertising may use, is in the Privacy Policy.

When a number is wrong

Every figure this site calculates with comes from Australian Taxation Office material and the federal legislation behind it, checked against the source rather than copied from another calculator. Under each calculator you will find the date those values were last checked, so you can see how fresh they are before you rely on them.

Careful work still produces mistakes, and we would rather hear about ours than not. If a figure here disagrees with an official source, tell us and we will check it. When something turns out to be wrong we fix it, and we keep a record of what changed and when, because a correction nobody can see is only half a correction.

What this site is not

The calculators produce estimates for orientation, not personal tax advice. For decisions that depend on your whole financial picture, a registered tax agent is the right door, and the Terms of Use say the same thing at greater length.
