Privacy Policy

EasyPayCalc ("we", "us") operates the pay calculator at easypaycalculator.com.au. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the site, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Information we collect
- Your calculator inputs are never sent to us. Salary figures and options you enter are processed entirely in your browser. This site is served as static files and has no backend server that could receive them.
- Cash Flow entries stay on your device. The income and expense items you enter in the Cash Flow tab are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. They never leave your device and are not sent to us or any third party. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Feedback you choose to submit. If you use the feedback form, the issue type, your message, and the page you were on are sent to Formspree so we can read and respond to your report.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4), which collects visit and page-view data and an approximate location (country/region level). Analytics data does not identify you personally.
2. Cookies and advertising
This site carries advertising, which is how it pays for itself. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve those ads. Google's use of advertising cookies allows Google and its partners to show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
You can switch personalised advertising off. Google's Ads Settings covers ads served by Google, and aboutads.info/choices opts you out of many advertising vendors in one place. Switching it off does not remove the ads. It removes the personalisation behind them.

4. Data storage
We do not operate our own servers or databases. Cash Flow entries are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. Feedback submissions are stored on Formspree's servers under their retention policy. Analytics and advertising data are held by Google under the policies linked above.

6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves, for example if we add or remove a third-party service. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
